This is an exciting time to join us as we expand across APAC and globally About the Role As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a dynamic Marketing Specialist to support our marketing initiatives across Australia and New Zealand (growing into Asia) and collaborate with our global team. Reporting initially to the Group Marketing Director (UK) and Senior Vice President (Australia), you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing strategies across the corporate, leisure and groups and incentives travel divisions. This role will bridge local and global marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with company goals while adapting campaigns to suit the Australian (and later the Asia Pacific) market. Day-to-day, you will: Assist in developing and executing the marketing plan for the Australian market, ensuring alignment with global objectives. Support the creation of marketing materials, including eDMs, content pieces, website landing pages (WordPress), social media posts, promotional campaigns, and associated assets — using on-brand templates and adhering to corporate style guides. Collaborate with the UK marketing team to localise global campaigns for Australian audiences. Create, manage, and schedule social media posts across platforms for each Gray Dawes brand, ensuring content is engaging and aligned with brand guidelines. Manage website updates, including landing pages and SEO optimisation where appropriate. Track digital campaign performance and provide analytics reports with actionable insights. Support the planning and execution of marketing events such as expos, client workshops, webinars, and corporate roadshows. Coordinate promotional campaigns for seasonal offerings such as early bird airfares, holiday packages, and group tours. Maintain strong relationships with external suppliers, including support resources and media agencies. Prepare regular performance reports for campaigns, including ROI analysis and recommendations for improvement. Monitor competitor activities and industry trends, providing recommendations to enhance marketing strategies. Who We're Looking For You're a highly organised self-starter with a commercial mindset and a customer-first approach. To thrive in this role, you'll bring: Strong knowledge of marketing principles and campaign management - gained through 3 to 4 years of experience in a mixture of B2B and B2C marketing roles (travel industry experience is advantageous). A bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field. Experience in B2B and B2C marketing preferred. Proficiency in digital marketing tools, including social media platforms, Google Analytics, WordPress website CMS and email marketing systems (e.g., Mailchimp or HubSpot). Excellent verbal and written communication, with a flair for storytelling. The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills to work across teams and cultures. High standard of accuracy in all work. Flexibility and willingness to attend (with notice) the occasional training, client, supplier & company events. Australian work authorisation is required for this position.
