About the Role We are seeking passionate and suitably experienced individuals for the role of ANUM within our overnight ward, and which includes undertaking After Hours Hospital Coordinator duties. Permanent part-time basis minimum 60 hours per fortnight (0.8 FTE) – 1 x PM and one on Night Duty including weekends – with the ability to rotate onto AM/PM shifts for 4 weeks of the year or as required. You will be working on the combined services ward which has 26 beds and principally provides care for all overnight patients, elective cardiac, medical and elective surgical. The unit also provides high dependency beds and services when required. The ANUM role is a vital nursing leadership function that involves working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager, providing exceptional patient care, undertaking mentoring and coaching by providing advice, clinical guidance, training & support to staff, supervision of staff, bed coordination, liaison between disciplines and departments and leading portfolio and project work to improve the patient experience. The classification for this position is 3B ANUM (range from $117,878 to $121,841- per annum pro rata) exclusive of penalties & allowances + Super and 3.5% yearly increases as per Western Private Hospital Nurses Enterprise Agreement 2023.
