2 x Positions – 1 x PM + 1 x Night Duty – Permanent Part-Time 60 hours/fortnight About Us Western Private Hospital, located in Footscray, is a 62-bed private acute hospital and is the longest serving private hospital in Melbourne’s west providing much needed services to the people in the expanding North West and Western regions of Melbourne and surrounding areas. WPH’s facilities include four Operating Theatres, CSSD, Day Procedure Unit, Overnight Ward for CCU, HDU & Surgical patients, Day Oncology Unit, Cardiac Catheter Laboratory, Specialist Consulting Suites, Nuclear Medicine/PET Centre and supported by pathology, pharmacy, radiology and radiation therapy services. We are fully equipped for a comprehensive range of surgical procedures including general, bariatric, oral max, colorectal, endoscopy, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, orthopaedic, gynaecology, IVF, plastics, vascular and urology, as well as diagnostic and interventional cardiology and high dependency services. About the Role We are seeking passionate and suitably experienced individuals for the role of ANUM within our overnight ward, and which includes undertaking After Hours Hospital Coordinator duties. Permanent part-time basis minimum 60 hours per fortnight (0.8 FTE) – 1 x PM and one on Night Duty including weekends – with the ability to rotate onto AM/PM shifts for 4 weeks of the year or as required. You will be working on the combined services ward which has 26 beds and principally provides care for all overnight patients, elective cardiac, medical and elective surgical. The unit also provides high dependency beds and services when required. The ANUM role is a vital nursing leadership function that involves working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager, providing exceptional patient care, undertaking mentoring and coaching by providing advice, clinical guidance, training & support to staff, supervision of staff, bed coordination, liaison between disciplines and departments and leading portfolio and project work to improve the patient experience. The classification for this position is 3B ANUM (range from $117,878 to $121,841- per annum pro rata) exclusive of penalties & allowances + Super and 3.5% yearly increases as per Western Private Hospital Nurses Enterprise Agreement 2023.
