Talent Acquisition Specialist (Part-Time, Job-Share) A flexible 0.6 FTE Talent Acquisition role with real balance and hybrid working. Join a connected PX team that starts each day with gratitude and a good laugh. Due to internal movement, we’re looking for a new Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People Experience team. The strata industry is growing, and with it the need for talented people to keep our communities running well. Partnering with leaders to hire the best people for PICA ensures our branches and departments have the talent they need to deliver quality service to our clients. Also, as a key member of the PX team, you’ll contribute to projects that help leaders strengthen their team. This is a permanent part-time 0.6 FTE (22.5 hours) job-share role with flexible scheduling options. The role is hybrid, with a mix of working from home and designated in-office days (CBD & Chatswood) to stay connected with the team. What you’ll do: Run shared end-to-end recruitment for assigned roles, coordinating closely with your job-share partner to maintain continuity across intake, sourcing, interviews, and offers. Write clear, market-aligned job ads and create attraction strategies. Source and screen candidates through proactive outreach, ensuring consistent evaluation across job-share days. Manage interview logistics, including scheduling, manager alignment, feedback loops, and timely communication. Support offer and onboarding steps, ensuring a smooth transition from candidate to employee. Maintain accurate information across our ATS (Dayforce), keeping pipelines and status updated. Build trust with hiring managers through straightforward communication and practical advice. Promote inclusive and equitable hiring practices and ensure a great candidate experience. What you’ll bring: You may come from a talent acquisition background, or you might be a people leader who has managed high-volume recruitment as part of your role. What matters is your ability to hire well. Resourcefulness and resilience. Recruiting in strata can be challenging, so you work with urgency, adapt quickly, and stay focused when things get busy. Comfort working at pace, balancing people-focused conversations with administrative details that keep recruitment moving. Curiosity, creativity, and an interest in finding new ways to attract great talent. Warm, clear communication that helps you build trust quickly with hiring managers and candidates. A collaborative and grounded approach. You’re the kind of person who pitches in when the team needs support. Strong ownership of your responsibilities and the ability to communicate clearly in a job-share model. You’re comfortable managing your workload independently across hybrid work, balancing home days with in-office time. Confidence using recruitment tools (Dayforce, LinkedIn, Seek, etc.) Please note, our team has a strict no‑Dickheads policy.
