Overview At IQ Capital Group, as Social Media Coordinator, you’ll be a key storyteller - connecting our audience and bringing our holistic and “whole of client” wealth advisory experience to life through engaging content. In this role, you’ll shape and grow our online presence by supporting the development and implementation of our social media strategy, enhancing our marketing and sales efforts. Responsibilities Manage key social media platforms, including monitoring performance and implementing growth strategies. Create, schedule, and publish engaging, on-brand social media content that drives awareness, traffic, and sales, across various platforms (including, Meta, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube). Assist in developing monthly content calendars aligned with marketing objectives. Support the development of social media campaigns to engage audiences and drive traffic. Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Management) to create and execute social media content and campaigns. Monitor and engage with the community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and brand-consistent manner. Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyse metrics, and prepare reports on campaign performance and social media insights. Support influencer campaigns, user-generated content initiatives, and occasional administrative tasks like Helpdesk and CRM support. About You Having worked in the social media industry, you have a strong understanding of new and emerging trends and be able to demonstrate creativity and problem-solving skills, within a fast-paced, ever evolving environment.You must have a fundamental understanding of the finance and/or financial planning industry. Qualifications 2–3 years of experience managing social media platforms for a brand or organization. Strong understanding of and proficiency in social media platforms and tools. Design, copy writing and content creation skills: Creative mindset with attention to detail and brand voice consistency. Strong writing, editing, and communication skills, alongside basic graphic design and video editing skills are a must. (ideally Lightroom, Canva). Confident with data, metrics and reporting to track performance and inform decisions. Knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, social platform insights). Strong time management and organisational skills: Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Flexibility to adapt as required. Excellent communication skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly across teams. Proactive attitude: Ready to take ownership of tasks and contribute ideas that drive our brand forward. Adaptability and eagerness to learn: Willingness to stay up to date with social trends, platform changes, and evolving best practices in social media marketing.
