Company Description Located in the heart of Broadbeach and just 200m from the beach, Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach is a five-star luxury hotel featuring 296 elegantly appointed rooms and suites, 10 sophisticated event spaces, 2 bars, a restaurant, a multi-level pool and fitness centre. We are seeking a Sales Executive – Corporate / MICE to drive revenue growth across corporate accommodation, meetings, incentives, conferences and events. This role is responsible for proactively acquiring new business, managing key accounts, and ensuring Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach is the first choice for our target clients. You will implement strategic sales plans, convert leads into business, and build long-term relationships with both local and national accounts. You’ll work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing and Accor’s regional sales teams to deliver market-leading performance. Job Description A Career that lets your passion shine: Drive new business by converting sales leads and securing corporate group, MICE and event bookings Manage a portfolio of Corporate and MICE accounts to achieve revenue and market share targets Develop and execute proactive sales plans, including sales calls, client visits, telesales and email campaigns Conduct market research and prospecting to source new business and re-engage lost business leads Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and decision-makers to retain and grow accounts Collaborate with Accor Regional Sales and internal stakeholders to maximise opportunities Prepare proposals, manage RFPs, and negotiate rates within approved structures Conduct site inspections and familiarisation trips to convert leads into bookings Maintain accurate CRM records and actively participate in pipeline meetings Qualifications A luxury attitude, strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence Proven success in hotel sales, preferably Corporate/MICE or Business Development Strong negotiation, conversion and relationship-building skills Proactive hunter mentality with the ability to close High level of commercial awareness and market insight Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience using Opera, Salesforce or similar CRM/sales systems A polished, professional and client-focused approach aligned to luxury service Additional Information Complimentary night's stay with breakfast, in Sofitel Luxury, each year for your work anniversary Discounts on accommodation, dining, and lifestyle across Accor hotels globally Paid day off in your birthday month Discounted on-site parking in the heart of Broadbeach Monthly events, activations and benefits curated exclusively for our people at Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach Personalised rewards program - a catalogue of rewards to suit you and your lifestyle Leaders that invest in your development and growth Grow your career with a global hotel brand leading the way in French luxury hospitality Belong in a place where you can be yourself and love what you do.
