Hybrid working supported Salary relative to experience and ranges from $109,102 to $120,542 superannuation leave loading Our Sharing & Enabling Environmental Data (SEED) team is currently seeking to appoint a Project Officer - SEED in this exciting role where you will help manage and shape the future of environmental data in NSW. About the Role We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Officer to support the successful delivery of the SEED. In this dynamic role you will be responsible for coordinating and managing a range of project activities and essential program operations to ensure outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. As a key member of the team you will: Provide comprehensive project support including preparing reports and briefs, coordinating resources and maintaining accurate documentation. Implement and monitor project plans in alignment with established methodologies and objectives. Facilitate stakeholder engagement through effective communication, product support coordination of working groups and consultation processes. Collect, analyse and report on data to track progress and identify emerging issues. Conduct research and prepare project briefs to support informed decision-making and strategic planning. Respond to customer support enquiries and identify product enhancements to better serve SEED users. About You You’re a proactive and adaptable project professional who thrives in fast-paced environments supporting product users and enjoys managing competing priorities. With a strong foundation in project management and stakeholder engagement, you’re confident coordinating resources, delivering technical information clearly, and keeping projects on track. You bring: Experience delivering project support across multiple initiatives under tight deadlines and limited resources. Strong communication skills to build effective networks and facilitate collaboration with diverse stakeholders. Advanced digital skills to assist in the operation of key platforms and enhance project delivery. GIS expertise and a passion for helping stakeholders bring their data stories to life. Proven ability to translate complex technical information into formats easily understood by target audiences. Proficiency in computer-based systems including standard project management tools, content management (CM10) or similar website management systems (Drupal). Analytical thinking to identify trends, track progress and support informed decision-making. Experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) metadata and data management.
