GPSC @ Midland Railway Workshops is seeking a friendly and experienced medical Receptionist to join our team on a fulltime basis. As the first point of contact for our patients you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our medical practice. Key Responsibilities Welcome, greet and arrive patients Collect and enter new patient details Confirm appointments Billing, processing Medicare / Private accounts / DVA accounts / patient billing Responding to emails Scanning Reconciliation of daily banking Handling of incoming mail and preparation of mail to send Completion of day-to-day tasks and duties Adhering to practice standard operating procedures and policies and procedures Skills and Experience Previous experience working in a general practice, essential Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment Strong communication and time management skills A caring and collaborative approach to patient care and services Ability to multitask and show attention to detail Dedicated and enthusiastic work ethic Reliable and flexible to cover shifts Strong team player attitude To Apply To submit your application for this position please apply via Seek with a cover letter and your current CV.
