Become a part of the vibrant team at Aussizz Group Pty Ltd T/AS Aussizz Migration & Education Consultants (Perth) as a full-time Accountant at our East Perth, WA office. In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing the company’s financial accounting and reporting, making a valuable contribution to the organisation’s ongoing success. Positive and collaborative workplace culture Annual performance-based salary reviews Clear pathways for promotion within a growing organization Task & responsibilities Manage and maintain General Ledger (GL) accounts including journal entries, month-end closing, and account analysis Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Ensure timely and accurate BAS, WHT, FBT and other statutory filings in compliance with Australian taxation and regulatory standards Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring deadlines are met with high accuracy Assist with forecast and budget Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and automation within the finance function Maintain and update accounting policies in line with changes in legislation and business needs Qualification & experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CA/CPA qualification preferred Probably 1 to 2 years of accounting experience, ideally within a mid to large-sized organization Strong hands-on experience with General Ledger (GL) accounting and reconciliations Sound knowledge of Australian tax regulations and compliance (GST, WHT, PAYG, Superannuation, etc.) Previous experience using Oracle or another large ERP platform an advantage Proficiency with MS Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset A continuous improvement attitude with the ability to contribute to business process enhancements About Company With nearly 13 years of experience, Aussizz Group is a trusted name in immigration and education consultancy across Perth and its surrounding suburbs.
