We’re also passionate about our customers, products, and living our values of: Doing the right thing Being in it together Giving a damn Getting it done About the Role We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Channel Marketing Manager – Own Brand to lead the growth, visibility, and impact of Burson Auto Parts’ Own Brand portfolio within the Trade channel. This is a newly created role that blends strategy, brand development, campaign execution, and hands‑on channel activation. You’ll work closely with Product, Category, Sales, and Marketing teams to build a strong brand presence that drives customer engagement, conversion, and loyalty across our national network. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys shaping new processes and frameworks, and brings a passion for data‑driven marketing that delivers tangible commercial results. Your Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the trade marketing strategy for Burson Auto Parts and Precision Automotive Equipment, ensuring alignment with commercial goals, sales plans, and brand strategy. Lead an integrated planning process, working with sales, category, pricing, sponsorships, procurement, and brand teams to deliver cohesive marketing activity across the trade channel. Manage annual marketing planning and budgets, including campaign calendars, national promotions, supplier‑funded programs, and compliance with the Trade Promotions Act. Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships, negotiating co‑funded campaigns, joint initiatives, and long‑term marketing agreements. Oversee campaign delivery and performance, ensuring consistent execution across digital, print, in‑store, trade events, and sales channels while tracking KPIs and ROI. Support customer engagement initiatives, including loyalty programs, trade shows, sponsorship activations, and large‑scale events. Partner with the Sales Leadership Team to provide marketing tools, insights, and programs that drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. Coach and support internal stakeholders, promoting best‑practice channel marketing and strengthening alignment across the business. What You’ll Bring You’re a strategic marketer with strong commercial acumen, a passion for building brands, and the ability to turn insights into compelling marketing initiatives. You enjoy rolling up your sleeves, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and influencing stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment. You’ll also bring: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or related discipline. 5+ years in marketing or brand management, ideally in automotive, industrial, or B2B/trade environments. Proven experience managing private label/own brand portfolios. Strong campaign execution and hands‑on activation experience. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Strong communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
