Purpose of the Role This role will facilitate the ongoing administrative functions of the Procurement Motor Supply team by delivering high levels of support, both internally and externally, to Auto & General internal stakeholders and service providers. Brief Description The role will provide administrative support to the Procurement Motor Supply team, ensuring efficient communication and data management for motor repairers and suppliers. Position Accountabilities Streamline and govern all outbound communications from Supply Administration to business units to enhance operational efficiency and ensure alignment with Supply & Risk policy. Add or update motor repairers in the company’s database (Nlighten, Supplier Management Portal, DISC, etc.). Monitor and maintain due diligence documentation of contracted motor repairers and communicate regularly with internal stakeholders in an effective and timely manner. Liaise with motor suppliers to obtain information required to update systems. Review internal processes related to supply admin to ensure they align with best/current practices and propose improvement solutions. Provide general administrative support to the Commercial Manager Motor Supply team and other internal departments/teams as required. Escalate any emerging issue to the Commercial Manager. Administrative & Technical: Proven administrative experience and advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel. Desirable: Experience with DISC/AS400, data analysis skills, and knowledge of insurance industry standards and legislation.
