Join to apply for the Bids Executive (Sydney or Melbourne) role at Pinsent Masons . We’re looking for an experienced Bids Executive to join our APAC Business Development team, based in either Melbourne or Sydney. This is a full‑time role working Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with hybrid work arrangements. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a strategic, fast‑paced environment, managing and supporting end‑to‑end bid and tender processes. You’ll play a key role in helping the firm secure high‑value work across priority business areas. Working closely with the APAC Bid Manager based in Sydney, you’ll oversee the entire bid life‑cycle – from opportunity assessment and document preparation to final submission. You’ll also collaborate with the wider APAC Business Development and Marketing (BD&M) team and Lead Bid Partners across the region. Key Responsibilities Review and interpret tender documents, identifying key requirements and timelines. Coordinate with partners, associates, and internal stakeholders to compile content. Use business development systems to efficiently source and collate relevant materials. Maintain and enhance pre‑written content, templates, and guides to provide automated content resources. Produce bid activity reports, track submissions, and update bid databases. Assist senior team members in creating materials for client presentations. What We’re Looking For 2+ years in a similar bid or tender coordination role within legal or professional services. A business development or marketing qualification (advantageous). A genuine team player who contributes enthusiastically. Exceptional business writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Meticulous accuracy in all aspects of work. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage conflicting deadlines effectively. Skilled at earning trust and respect from stakeholders. Mandarin written capability is advantageous due to collaboration with Hong Kong and Mainland China. Why Join Pinsent Masons? We have a global reach and a local feel.
