Are you an experienced Accounts Receivable professional who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly — from managing credit risk to maintaining strong customer relationships? We're looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our finance team, where you'll play a key role in supporting our business performance and customer partnerships. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts receivable process for our group of companies. Your focus will be on maintaining healthy cash flow, minimising bad debt, and building positive relationships with customers to ensure accounts are managed efficiently and professionally. You'll work closely with our Finance, Sales, and Operations teams within our group of companies to keep accounts accurate, current, and compliant with company policies. What you will be doing: Manage customer accounts with regular credit assessment through to collection and reconciliation. Conduct regular debtor and ageing analysis reports. Maintain and update customer records across finance and sales systems. Follow up outstanding accounts through effective communication and negotiation. Investigate and resolve billing or payment issues promptly. Liaise with credit agencies and legal representatives as required. Support continuous improvement initiatives in credit management and finance operations. Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers to support strong, long-term partnerships. What You'll Bring: 3+ years' experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or similar finance role. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data and reporting. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Sound understanding of credit risk principles and collection processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, MYOB, Pronto). A proactive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently.
