This role is based in Australia and replicates the operations of the group's processing facilities in international locations like the UK and USA. What You'll Be Doing The successful candidate will play a key role in sourcing materials across Australia. This role also provides exposure to the company's growing chemical processing and trading business, offering strong opportunities for professional development. Primary responsibilities will include: Building strong relationships with suppliers, traders, and industry partners. Sourcing and purchasing materials within Australia. Monitoring market pricing and trends, which involves working closely with international colleagues. Supporting chemical processing and trading activities, with scope to develop specialist expertise. Active involvement in purchasing, processing, and trading activities across the business. Who They Are Looking For The ideal candidate should be ambitious, motivated, and eager to grow with the business. They should be comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. Essential qualities and requirements: A confident communicator with excellent telephone and email skills. Possesses strong numeric ability and commercial awareness. Ability to develop and maintain lasting supplier relationships. Willingness to travel regularly within Australia, with the potential for occasional international travel. Must possess a full, clean driving licence. Note: While previous experience in business development, trading, or related industries may be beneficial, it is not essential.
