About The Project JV partnership between John Holland and KBR delivering innovative and high‑quality assets and upgrades with Melbourne Water to ensure communities across Melbourne continue to enjoy high‑quality water supply and seamless sewage removal and treatment. The JHG‑KBR JV has delivered a wide range of important infrastructure projects for the region including water and sewer pipeline renewals, treatment plant upgrades, civil and road works and reservoir improvements. Your Role Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications. Monitor construction progress for adherence to programme and report to the site manager or project manager. Interpret designs for implementation in construction projects. Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports. Analyse and use document and record management, progress, and project performance reporting compliance. About You A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – Mechanical & Electrical. Experience working for a tier 1 or 2 Civil Contractor. 4+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, control systems, or commissioning roles. Extensive experience in water and wastewater treatment plant systems and pumping stations. A deep understanding of project scopes, including: Water treatment systems (e.g., filtration, UV disinfection, chemical dosing, water transfer stations, stormwater diversion systems). Sewerage treatment facilities (e.g., primary screening, grit removal, primary and secondary treatment, odour and biogas treatment, sludge handling and storage). Proven capability in delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including upgrades and construction within live environments.
