Find out more about our mission at About the Job The Warehouse Leading Hand is an exciting and dynamic leadership role within the Opella Warehouse team, providing innovative leadership and strategic direction. This motivated person will work with and guide warehouse staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. They will maintain our prominent quality and safety standards, uphold high levels of customer fulfilment, assist in onboarding new team members, provide support and training, and own the warehouse across the organisation with opportunities for regular senior‑management exposure. Main Responsibilities Lead by example in driving to reach and exceed operational goals and quality standards. Provide mentoring, direction, and day‑to‑day supervision to the warehouse team. Coordinate workflows to ensure efficient inbound/picking and dispatch of stock to customers accurately and on time, stock rotation and storage, as well as support for the Manufacturing department. Ensure effective and safe compliance with work procedures, quality processes, and service standards. Ensure inbound deliveries are received accurately and in a timely manner. Plan and distribute appropriate resources to meet daily volumes. Populate daily reports and distribute to appropriate departments. Handle general housekeeping requirements. Perform general admin duties from time to time. Provide support to the Warehouse Manager as required. Qualifications Qualifications in Warehousing/Logistics advantageous. Valid forklift license (LF) essential with experience in forklift operating. Experience Experience with SAP highly desirable. 2+ years’ experience as a Team Leader with demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and drive accountability within a small team, including picking staff. Background in Manufacturing industry a must – FMCG preferred. A track record of proven hands‑on leadership and management skills, with experience managing a small team, including picking staff. Skills Team player with excellent communication skills. Strong coordination skills. Accuracy, attention to detail and highly organised. Ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines in a fast‑pace, high‑volume environment and use your initiative. Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials. Why Us?
