Maintenance Officer (Junior), full‑time position at Calvin Christian School. 38 hours each week across 5 days. Overview Calvin Christian School is a co‑educational Kindergarten – Year 12 school with 800+ students in Kingston, 10 km south of Hobart. This position commences on 5 January. About you It is expected that the incumbent will bring a Christian worldview to bear on the various aspects of the position and will participate fully within the spiritual life of the school. Responsibilities Enhance student learning outcomes through maintenance activities Maintain and repair school facilities Perform cleaning duties in classrooms, common areas and outdoor spaces Manage resources and operations related to maintenance Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations Engage in professional development relevant to maintenance and safety Qualifications and Experience Current Working with Vulnerable People card National Police Record or willingness to obtain Physical fitness for the requirements of the position, including a pre‑employment full health assessment Current Tasmanian driver licence for light, medium or heavy rigid drivers licence or willingness to obtain First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain Working at heights qualifications or willingness to obtain Chainsaw operations qualifications or willingness to obtain Electrical testing and tagging qualifications or willingness to obtain Experience in maintenance, trade and/or grounds person How to apply All applicants must visit cst.tas.edu.au/employment and email their application to a designated email address.
