Accounts Receivable Officer

Streem is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team on a part‑time basis, working 4 days per week. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the company's accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collections and maintaining strong customer relationships. What you'll be doing Actively monitor and manage debtor accounts to achieve monthly cash collection targets, identifying risks early and resolving issues promptly. Work closely with Account Managers to investigate and resolve debtor‑related queries. Manage the end‑to‑end collections process, including issuing reminders, processing credit notes, and escalating matters to collection agencies when required. Prepare accurate debtor ageing reports and support cash flow forecasting activities. Oversee daily cash receipting and complete bank reconciliations, including administration of client invoicing portals. Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external escalations, ensuring timely and effective query resolution. Contribute to the improvement of financial policies, management systems, internal controls, and reporting processes. Ensure all activities comply with the organisation’s delegation of authority policy. Provide financial insights and support to business leaders as needed. Perform additional duties as required by Streem. What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Prior experience in Accounts Receivable, collections or a related field is advantageous. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. Australian citizenship or permanent residency required. Why join the Streem team?
