Asset Support Officer Location: Depot, Doncaster East, Victoria Employment type: Full-time, Fixed Term 12‑month Position Salary: Band 5 – $81,962 + 12% superannuation + monthly RDO About the Role An Asset Support Officer will provide dedicated administrative and operational support to the Infrastructure Permits team, ensuring public assets are protected, community impacts minised, and permit processes run smoothly and compliantly. The role is part of a high‑performing team at the intersection of civil infrastructure, regulation, and customer service. Responsibilities Provide high-quality administrative and operational support across infrastructure permits and asset protection. Champion process improvements and contribute to documenting new procedures for service excellence. Engage with internal teams, contractors, and the community to ensure compliance and positive outcomes. Respond to public and internal inquiries, maintain accurate records of asset conditions and protection bonds, and support inspections to ensure compliance with Council standards. Maintain records of asset conditions, protection bonds and inspections. Skills and Experience Demonstrated experience providing comprehensive administrative support within a complex organisation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and records management systems (CRM, TRIM highly regarded). Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. Strong analytical and decision‑making skills, with experience resolving regulatory issues under tight timeframes. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience with invoicing, financial processes, and processing a high volume of applications.
