Position Aboriginal Mental Health Worker WACHS - South West > Mental Health Bunbury – Bunbury WA $90,666 - $96,409 a year Full time, Permanent (76 hours per fortnight) Location: Bunbury Unit/Division: WACHS - South West > Mental Health Bunbury Position No: Closing Date: 4:00 PM Position Profile Aboriginal Mental Health Worker works as a member of the multidisciplinary regional mental health team and enhances the accessibility of mental health services to Aboriginal children, young people, families, and communities. The occupant of this position will be expected to comply with and demonstrate a positive commitment to the WACHS values and the highest achievement in demonstrating positive commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity, Occupational Safety & Health, Public Sector Standards, Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics, Quality Improvement, Performance Management, Customer Focus, Disability Services Act and Confidentiality throughout the course of their duties. Eligibility and Requirements Applicants must have a valid working visa or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia. Pursuant to Section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, the occupant of this position must be of Aboriginal descent. Applicants will need to undertake a criminal records screening, integrity checking, a working with children check (if required), and a pre‑employment health assessment. A current Class C driver’s licence with F (Bus) extension is required; otherwise the applicant must obtain the endorsement prior to commencement.
