Job Overview We are looking to engage the services of an experienced manager to drive the day-to-day operations of a large Motel composed of 40 accommodation rooms of various configurations. The property is currently undergoing refurbishment, and we are seeking someone with demonstrated experience in conferencing and functions management. This role is ideally suited for an individual with strong business acumen seeking an enjoyable and challenging work environment in a growing regional Australian town. This role is available for an immediate start, and we are looking forward to receiving your CV and cover letter. Responsibilities Manage all areas of guest and customer relations, including enquiries, guest experience, checking‑in/out, group bookings, conference bookings, and functions coordination. Provide first line management of property reservations through Phone, Web, Email, Walk‑in and online channels. Conduct first line financial management of property accounting. Compile weekly and monthly property reports. Participate in weekly management team conference calls. Manage all property staff, including talent acquisition, training, supervision, counseling and discipline as required. Control staff hours to ensure no unnecessary expenses are incurred. Stay engaged across all property facilities to maintain high standards of property and room functionality/cleanliness through a formal quality assurance process. Oversee the sustainment and maintenance of property upgrades during and post‑refurbishment. Ensure the Motel Property (Accommodation areas and amenities including Pool) is run in accordance with company policies. Ensure stock levels are maintained to sustain all business‑as‑usual activities. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Escalate issues to the management team as necessary. Qualifications Minimum of 3–5 years of management experience in accommodation or hospitality settings. Demonstrated experience in conferencing and functions management. Strong business acumen and ability to drive operational efficiency. Excellent communication, customer service, and staff leadership skills.
