We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and inspiring Centre Director to lead our well-established 66-place early learning service in Wollongbar, Northern NSW . Australian work rights are required for this position. Our centre is family-owned and operated , consistently maintains high occupancy , and is supported by a dedicated Quality Practice Manager who provides hands‑on guidance in pedagogy, compliance, and centre improvement. We are a warm, community-focused service that values relationships, quality practice, and a collaborative team culture. About the Role As Centre Director, you will be responsible for: Leading, mentoring, and supporting a dedicated team of educators Driving high-quality educational programs and embedding best practice Overseeing day‑to‑day operations, staffing, rostering, enrolments, and occupancy Ensuring compliance with NQS, EYLF, National Regulations, and Quality Improvement processes Building positive, trusted relationships with families and our local community Fostering a supportive, engaged, and motivated team culture Preparing and maintaining high standards for Assessment & Rating Candidates must hold a minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education. In line with the strengthened NSW Child Safe Standards and regulatory requirements, our Centre Director is responsible for embedding robust child protection practices, ensuring staff competency in mandatory reporting, maintaining safe environments, supporting child participation, managing risks, and sustaining a strong organisational culture of safety and accountability.
