Role Overview We are seeking an accomplished Sales Manager to lead and grow our strategic sales initiatives across multiple high-growth markets. The successful candidate will combine deep electrical industry knowledge with proven leadership and sales management expertise to develop and execute high-impact strategies, manage cross-functional teams, and deliver sustainable revenue growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the sales strategy aligned with corporate objectives and market opportunities in OEM, Mining, Renewables, Materials Handling, Power Generation, and Energy & Utilities. Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team (account managers, business development, engineers) to achieve or exceed revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction targets. Drive new business development while nurturing and expanding strategic customer relationships; own the end-to-end sales cycle from identification to contract negotiation and closing. Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure compelling value propositions, competitive pricing, and effective delivery against customer needs. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes; translate insights into actionable plans and differentiated offerings. Develop accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and KPI dashboards; provide regular reporting to executive leadership. Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical standards, safety requirements, and quality systems; promote a culture of safety, ethics, and continuous improvement. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer briefings; build and maintain a strong external presence. Lead key strategic partnerships, channel development, and pricing strategies to optimize market penetration and profitability. Qualifications and Experience Degree in electrical engineering, electromechanical, or a trade related discipline. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus. Professional electrical qualifications or certifications or recognised industry credentials. Proven track record in B2B sales within electrical products and solutions for industries such as OEM, Mining, Renewables, Materials Handling, Power Generation, and Utilities. Demonstrated leadership of high-performance sales teams, with a history of achieving ambitious revenue and margin targets. Strong technical acumen to understand customer needs, product specifications, and complex electrical systems; ability to translate technical details into compelling value propositions. Excellent stakeholder management skills with enterprise-level customers, contract negotiation experience, and a consultative selling approach. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving abilities; proficient in CRM and sales analytics. Comfortable working in global or multi‑site environments; willingness to travel as required.
