Join Mainfreight as a full‑time Payroll Officer onsite based in Epping, Victoria. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high‑quality payroll services to support our team and ensure all team members are paid accurately and on time. You will join our vibrant, fun and supportive team based in Epping. You will report to the Payroll Manager, where you will run a weekly payroll of around 50, and will support our monthly payroll of 2000+, using MicrOpay. You will assist in monthly and quarterly HR / payroll reporting and onboarding of new team members using ConnX, together with monthly team member reporting and analysis of payroll related costs. Some of your tasks will include: New Team member packs through ConnX linking into MicrOpay. Weekly and monthly payroll processing including reporting. Generate reports for the finance team & branches. Assist with internal and external payroll related inquiries. Maintain records of team member related data (payroll, personal information, leave, turnover rates, team numbers). HR support as required. Other adhoc tasks as required. The successful applicant will have: Passion, understanding and 3+ years in Payroll, previous MicrOpay experience would be beneficial. Ability to handle data confidentially. High level of attention to detail. Excellent communicator (written and oral). Positive outlook. Flexible and adaptable. Good organisational and time management skills. Proficient in Excel & Word.
