If your expertise and passion is providing a high level of service processing a large weekly payroll with a variety of administrative accounting tasks then we would like to meet you. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll professional. Responsibilities Accurate, high volume data entry input of weekly timesheets. Processing new starters and payroll changes; prepare payroll tax. Develop an understanding of a variety of Fair Work Awards and conditions of employment to ensure data validity. Respond to enquiry from employees, clients and management along with meeting payroll reporting and KPI targets. Answering phones and relaying accurate messages. Electronic filing, incoming and outgoing mail and other general administrative duties, as required. Qualifications Previous experience working within a financial, payroll environment. Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office. Excellent attention to detail and accurate numeracy. Ability to prioritise, plan and communicate effectively with staff, candidates and clients at all levels. Flexibility in workload with the ability to adjust with team requirements weekly. Knowledge of working with EA, Awards and employment contracts advantageous. C-Class driver’s licence is essential with own reliable transport.
