Melbourne Institute of Higher Education – Preston VIC The IT Support Officer will be responsible for delivering timely technical support to academic and non-academic staff, students, and management. The role includes maintaining IT equipment, supporting/updating software and network systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of digital learning platforms (Moodle). You will work closely with academic and administrative teams to ensure that technology supports teaching, learning, campus cybersecurity, and operational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues. Support the maintenance of two computer labs, Wi‑Fi, printers, and audiovisual equipment for lecture rooms. Assist with user account creation, password resets, and system access using Google Workspace and Microsoft. Monitor and maintain the LMS (Moodle/Canvas), student portals (SMS), and internal systems. Set up IT equipment for classes, meetings, and Orientation. Install, configure, and update software applications. Maintain IT asset registers and support procurement activities. Escalate complex issues to vendors or senior IT personnel when required. Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT processes, policies, and cybersecurity documentation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
