Key Responsibilities Provide prompt, professional support to employees by responding to payroll queries with a strong customer‑service approach. Assist with end‑to‑end processing of fortnightly payroll for more than 2,500 employees, including time and attendance validation and payroll calculations. Maintain accurate payroll records, including new starters, terminations and contract changes. Conduct regular and ad‑hoc payroll audits, preparing reports to ensure accuracy and compliance. Support payroll reconciliations and statutory reporting requirements, including payroll tax and superannuation. Ensure all payroll activities comply with the General Retail Industry Award (GRIA), Australian tax legislation and superannuation obligations. Prepare, analyse and distribute payroll reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the payroll and HR function to enhance efficiency and best practice. Employment type: Full‑time. Seniority level: Entry level.
