As a result, we have created the role of Production Technical Officer to support our Work Health & Safety (WHS) and Quality Assurance (QA) systems by developing and maintaining essential documentation that supports safe, efficient, and compliant food production processes. Responsibilities Developing, writing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and training materials. Conducting and documenting risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety reviews. Ensuring all documentation meets WHS legislation, food safety standards (e.g., HACCP), and company requirements. Collaborating with technical and operations staff to translate complex processes into clear, user-friendly documentation. Support continuous improvement initiatives in WHS and QA systems. Maintain version control and manage documentation updates and reviews. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented communicator, with a strong understanding of food manufacturing, safety, and quality systems. You will enjoy turning technical information into clear, accurate documents that make a real difference on the factory floor. Qualifications Proven experience in a technical writing, QA, or WHS role (within food or FMCG manufacturing). Strong understanding of food safety systems, HACCP principles, and workplace health & safety standards. Experience with risk assessment tools or safety management systems. Strong writing and editing skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to interpret technical data and regulatory requirements. Strong collaboration and communication skills across all of the business. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document control systems. Sound administration and organisational skills with proven ability to independently manage challenging workloads. #J-18808-Ljbffr
