Rehabilitation Consultant Contractor – Rehab Counsellor / Psych / SW Exciting ongoing contracting opportunity for an experienced Rehabilitation Counsellor to work with a successful, personable, and dedicated provider. Good systems & infrastructure – strong admin model This successful rehabilitation provider is seeking a contracted Rehabilitation Consultant (Rehabilitation Counsellor, Psychologist or Social Worker) to take on a workplace rehabilitation caseload within the TAS workers compensation scheme. Following the relocation of the RC Director from SA to TAS, this provider has performed extremely well in the local market and is excited for upcoming expansions. In your role, you will be working collaboratively with your client to achieve return to health and work outcomes in a safe and timely manner through providing excellent case management services. This role is highly flexible and autonomous – you will be working alongside a team of highly skilled, supportive and professional contractors. This contracting opportunity is open to experienced and confident professionals with a strong desire to assist their clients in achieving positive outcomes – return to health and work. You will have excellent rapport building skills and be confident in conducting assessments and case managing your clients. You will be responsible for the following: Completing assessments specific to client requirements: Vocational Assessments etc. Provide thorough, quality case management to your clients Liaison with key stakeholders. Work closely with a strong employment services division. Completion of high-level written reporting. Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work or Psychology (with relevant registration & membership with ASORC, AHPRA or AASW). Previous occupational rehabilitation experience is essential – ideally a minimum of 3 years. Recent experience with TAS Workers Compensation cases is desired. The ability to work effectively on an independent basis. Positive and client-centred professional with great communication skills in a remote setting. ACN & Professional Indemnity insurance (or willingness to gain). The role will provide you with: Generous contracting rates commensurate with experience.
