Modern Work Technical Presales Specialist – Crayon Location: Sydney, Australia | Reports to: Solutions Director – Productivity | Visa Requirements: Valid working visa for Australia | Language Requirements: Professional level English written and verbal | Work Arrangement: Hybrid | Learn more: crayon.com/au Overview As our new Presales Technical Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the presales team by driving strategic conversations around Modern Work and acting as an interface between business and technology. You will identify and develop business opportunities for our Modern Work services, collaborate with Solution Specialists and Account Managers to engage with customers, and stay updated with the latest technological advancements. Responsibilities Engage in presales by identifying customer needs, supporting proposition drawing, collaborating with Crayon Cloud Services team to propose and deliver tailored solutions to customers within the Cloud Adoption Framework. Drive collaboration with the Sales and Delivery team, support sales by identifying opportunities and initiating first conversations with customers. Evaluate cloud migration efforts and guide customers in assessing the impact of cloud migration initiatives. Solution‑sell, aligning services to customer needs and delivering value which includes presenting customized solutions and creating proposals. Develop a strong understanding of cloud computer concepts, architectures and the technical features of our services. Qualifications Experience in presales in a similar role. Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Modern Workplace security (Defender, Purview, etc.). Hold at least two of the following certifications: MS-900, SC-900, SC-200, SC-300, MS-102. Bachelor’s degree or relevant IT experience. Able to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business‑friendly language for diverse audiences; ambitious and goal‑oriented.
