We are seeking an experienced, people-focused Admissions Coordinator to play a pivotal role in guiding aspiring medical students through their journey to join Curtin’s Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program. Responsibilities Collaboratively coordinate the end‑to‑end admissions process for the Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), including application assessment, shortlisting, and managing the selection process. Provide comprehensive guidance and support to applicants, with a strong emphasis on supporting those from rural and low socioeconomic backgrounds. Deliver course, admission, and selection advice to prospective students and key stakeholders. Perform community outreach activities, including school visits (especially in rural and regional areas), campus tours, and university expos to promote the medical programme. Organise and coordinate interview programmes for shortlisted applicants, handling logistics for both candidates and interviewers. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with university policies and procedures. Work closely with the University Admissions Centre and liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure an efficient and effective admissions process. Qualifications Relevant degree with senior administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent organisational, time management, and interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively with diverse communities. High level of proficiency in computer systems and software. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Willingness to travel and work outside normal office hours. A current WA driver’s licence and Working with Children check.
