Your Next Role Step into a diverse and impactful accounting role within a growing and well-established business. You will support month‑end close, reporting, budgeting, and day-to-day operational finance, giving you exposure across multiple areas of Hyne Group. A key part of the role is helping us transition from smaller-site systems to a unified ERP platform, improving consistency and reporting across all pallet sites. This position offers real variety, meaningful ownership of your work, and the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week, a great opportunity to grow as the business continues to expand. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports across designated sites and cost centres. Relevant month end reconciliations and financial records are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Assist in the preparation of information for relevant ATO lodgments (e.g. BAS, FBT) in compliance with taxation and financial regulations. Act as a key point of contact for cost centre owners, providing financial guidance and support. Maintain an accurate asset register for the relevant cost centres. Contribute to the successful completion of on‑time audits preparing relevant schedules and reports for the Group. Assist in executing the Group strategy on acquisitions. Maintain and enhance reporting tools and financial models, leveraging Excel and other systems to improve efficiency and accuracy. Support the effective management of group systems and processes, including expense and credit card platforms. About you Accounting degree with 2+ years post‑qualified experience in finance. Strong problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and drive financial insights. Professional membership with an accounting body (e.g. CPA/CA). Sound knowledge of the principles, practices and methods of current accounting, reporting and auditing standards such as AASB standards. Working knowledge of ERP systems for small business (e.g. MYOB, Xero) and familiarity with large ERPs (e.g. Dynamics) is advantageous. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret financial data effectively. Why Hyne Timber?
