Our team provides vital intake services and acute mental health care, using a flexible hybrid model that blends face-to-face and telehealth support. This innovative approach allows us to reach people where they are - and gives our clinicians the opportunity to work in a way that suits them. With site location negotiable across our New England Northwest Mental Health Service sites, this role offers flexibility, meaningful impact, and the chance to be part of a supportive and progressive team dedicated to improving mental health outcomes across the region. About the role We’re offering exciting opportunities to join the New England Northwest Acute Care Team in roles tailored to suit your lifestyle and professional goals. For clinicians seeking stability, multiple positions are available within our Intake stream, offering a permanent Monday to Friday roster - ideal for leaving shift work behind and embracing a consistent workweek. For those interested in a dynamic and varied schedule, we also have a position in our Acute stream, operating on a 7-day rotating roster designed to support work-life balance. In either stream, you'll play a key role in delivering timely intake assessments, acute care interventions, and outreach support as part of a multidisciplinary team including clinicians, peer workers, and medical staff. Working within a progressive hybrid care model, you'll provide both face-to-face and telehealth support, ensuring access to high-quality mental health care across the region. You’ll also contribute to broader service delivery through inreach support to other NENW Health Services, helping us build stronger, more connected care across our communities. Requirements Must hold a qualification in one of the following: Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, Counsellor (Degree in Bachelor of Health Science Mental Health, Djirruwang Program), which provides eligibility or membership of the relevant professional association / provisional or general registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Eligibility to drive in NSW and interstate and the willingness to travel in the course of employment.
