Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global data centre infrastructure. We keep the cloud running by supporting servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment, and tackling complex supply chain challenges. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support and troubleshoot software‑based issues for internal teams and partner service teams. Use Linux expertise to resolve technical problems and innovate solutions. Manage ticket queues and meet service level agreements (SLAs). Analyze root causes, trends, and develop metrics, procedures, tools, and documentation to enhance operational efficiency. Work with software development teams to improve systems and services. Collaborate with experienced engineers and share knowledge. Basic Qualifications Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS and TCP/IP. 1+ years of technical support experience. Experience scripting in modern programming languages. 1+ year of Linux/Windows systems administration experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience in technical support. Experience scripting in Bash, Python, Perl, or Ruby. Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems. Knowledge of web services, distributed systems, and web application development. Experience maintaining software. Security Clearance Hold or be able to attain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance.
