The Role As the Cafe Manager, you’ll be the breakfast hero, making sure every guest gets the best start to their day You’ll lead your team with energy and enthusiasm making sure everything is running like clockwork, all the while managing inventory like a pro and keeping the kitchen and front-of-house teams communicating seamlessly. You have a hands-on approach and lead by example, motivating your team to deliver excellent service with a smile. You’re cool under pressure, quick on your feet, and always ready to solve problems with creative solutions. The Nitty Gritty Manage and oversee the operations of the cafe, ensuring high quality service and an exceptional guest experience. Foster a positive and collaborative work culture that aligns with the 4 Pines values. Implement and monitor operational procedures and policies to maintain efficiency and profitability. Manage budgets, stocks and inventory to optimise restaurant performance. Analyse sales data and use insights to drive revenue growth and profitability. Be the face of the venue and brand ambassador. Instil and foster the 4 Pines core values and personality traits within the team. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers and other key stakeholders Proactively seek growth opportunities Liaising with kitchen to ensure consistent quality and presentation of meals. Continued improvement of the customer experience. Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing, council regulations, food safety, WHS and other relevant legislative instruments. Skills and Experience Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and train a team of staff. Pragmatic approach to problem solving and troubleshooting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Genuine desire to build a connection with the local community At least 2 years of previous venue and people management experience Friendly, positive, and approachable attitude Current QLD RSA Must have unrestricted Australian work rights Why 4 Pines?
