Were looking for team players who are eager to contribute to a positive and supportive workplace so if these values align with yours and you share our passion for delivering exceptional customer service we would love to hear from you What You’ll Be Doing As the Assistant Café Manager you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where multitasking and delivering exceptional customer service are key. You’ll be responsible for serving customers efficiently, managing transactions through our POS system and maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace in line with Fresh standards. You’ll also assist in preparing a variety of food and beverages. Your role will include a mix of hands‑on service and operational support including: Overseeing both café sites Supporting the Café Manager with daily operations such as: Banking and cash handling Processing invoices Placing orders and managing inventory Conducting stocktakes Responding to customer enquiries and resolving issues Leading by example and motivating the team The Successful Candidate The ideal candidate for this position will have the following: 3 years of hospitality experience Strong knowledge of general café operations in a fast‑paced environment Catering experience is preferred but not essential Experience in a supervisory position is also desirable Strong barista skills are absolutely essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Exceptional time management skills and reliability Food Safety Certificate Unrestricted working rights What’s In It For You Fun inclusive and supportive team culture.
