Remuneration Specialist - Sales Incentive Design (contract) Lead the design of sales incentive structures in a complex, fast-paced environment, initial 2-4 week assignment, immediate start Northern Sydney location circa. $100 / hr Immediate start, 2-4 week assignment About the Organisation : Our client is a national organisation, and a major player within their niche industry. They are a highly successful, growing, medium sized business, operating in a dynamic, commercially-driven environment. The organisation is known for its agility, strong ownership mindset, and direct, high performing culture. About the Role : A rare opportunity for an experienced Remuneration Specialist to shape and deliver sales incentive and commission structures during a period of business change. This role is central to establishing a cohesive and commercially aligned reward framework across multiple sales teams. This contract is expected to run for 2-4weeks, with an immediate start. You will work closely with the CPO, Managing Directors, to consult, design, and recommend incentive models that drive sales performance and align with organisational goals. While modelling support is available, you will be the subject-matter expert responsible for strategic design and stakeholder engagement. Key responsibilities include : Designing new sales commission models and incentive structures across varied sales teams. Reviewing existing commission schemes and identifying opportunities for alignment, simplification, and commercial optimisation. Developing options, recommendations, and frameworks suitable for senior leadership decision-making. Ensuring remuneration governance, clarity, and documentation are in place for implementation. Providing strategic advice during the integration period to support workforce alignment and future remuneration planning. About You : You are a confident, senior remuneration professional with demonstrated experience designing sales incentive plans and partnering with executive-level stakeholders. You bring strong analytical capability, commercial acumen, and the credibility to advise senior leaders in a complex environment. You will bring : Deep expertise in remuneration and incentive design, particularly sales commission frameworks. Confidence engaging with Managing Directors and senior business leaders. Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify and articulate complex remuneration concepts. Experience in fast-paced, evolving, or post-merger environments. Ability to work autonomously as the sole reward specialist. High levels of professionalism, resilience, and credibility. Strong collaboration skills, particularly when working with Finance, HR, and Data teams.
