A full time opportunity is now available for a professional and highly experienced Remuneration & Benefits Specialist to apply their expertise across all areas of remuneration and benefits framework management and promotion. As a key member of the Shared Services team, you will be responsible for managing Catholic Healthcare’s Enterprise-wide Remuneration Framework, sourcing and promoting employee benefits whilst ensuring competitive and attractive offerings that support employee retention within the scope of a not-for-profit purpose let organisation. Reporting to the Payroll & Shared Services Manager, you will be a key member of a large broader HR team comprising approx. 63 professionals who collaborate to support both the business and our employees. In this hands‑on autonomous role, your strategic approach, solution‑focused mindset and the creative ability to develop enticing employee incentives will be recognised and valued. Your strong business acumen, combined with your ability to understand both business needs and position requirements to apply relevant scientific principles for precise and aligned remuneration benchmarking, will contribute significantly to your success. Your exceptional interpersonal and business partnering skills, together with your ability to develop and effectively promote benefits in support of Catholic Healthcare being recognised as an Employer of Choice, will aid your success in this integral position. Your role will include the following: Designing and maintaining a series of policies and procedures that provide clarity for the business on remuneration governance and practices Introducing job evaluation practices to create structure and ensure internal equity Managing the delivery of the company’s remuneration review and bonus programs Providing insightful and critical reporting, analysis and related commentary Provide evaluation and benchmarking of both new and existing positions Provide recommendations for enterprise agreement negotiations Develop performance based incentive plans & programs Project manage the delivery of the annual salary review program for all employees, including both Enterprise Agreement and non-Enterprise Agreement employees Conducting regular external benchmarking activities to collect data on salary levels, payment practices and remuneration trends As our ideal candidate, you will possess exceptional communication and analytical skills along with the ability to interpret data and provide concise solutions to the business. Additionally, you: Demonstrated experience in a similar dedicated Remuneration & Benefits management position within a large professional organisation - essential Ability to develop & maintain relationships with a diverse range of key stakeholders Tertiary qualifications within Human Resources, Business Management or related field Previous experience working within the Not For Profit Industry is desirable but not essential Excellent understanding of job evaluation and job analysis systems Strong analytical skills, ability to simplify complex concepts and provide report commentary Willingness to obtain a Police Check Benefits Catholic Healthcare employees receive Additional leave days, salary packaging, fitness benefits, paid parental and family leave, and long service leave after five years Catholic Healthcare is a values-based organisation that welcomes applicants from all faiths and backgrounds.
