NSW Department of Communities and Justice – Eastwood NSW Learning and Development Officer – Corrective Services Academy Location: Corrective Services Academy, Eastwood (Sydney) Employment type: Full Time (35 hours) – ongoing; temporary roles available Clerk Grade: 7/8 – Salary: $113,547 – $125,720 pa plus superannuation and leave loading The role We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Learning and Development Officer to design, deliver, and evaluate engaging learning and assessment programs that support our staff across New South Wales. This role plays a critical part in fostering professional growth, enhancing industry-specific competencies, and developing key behavioural capabilities essential for success in a complex and evolving environment. What You’ll Do Design and deliver learning programs across different settings Manage and assess staff learning using various tools Identify training needs and skill gaps with managers and staff Develop and implement learning strategies and policies Ensure compliance with RTO standards and regulations Evaluate and report on program effectiveness What We’re Looking For A dynamic and motivated Learning and Development professional who is passionate about fostering continuous development and capability across the workforce.
