Contract Type Contract Reference BH- IT Negotiable I'm working with a large Federal Government department to find a Solution Designer (ServiceNow/Azure Devops) This is an initial 6 month contract with 3 x 6 month extension options. Location: Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, or Melbourne About the Role Our client is seeking a hands‑on IT Solution Designer to lead the design and implementation of an integrated change management automation solution using ServiceNow DevOps Change Velocity and Azure DevOps . You'll transform how they manage IT change by building automated, risk‑based workflows that improve speed, reliability, and governance across the department. What You'll Do Design and implement workflows and business logic in ServiceNow to support automated ITIL Normal change requests triggered through Azure DevOps pipelines Collaborate with ITSM stakeholders to define risk‑based approval logic, automated scheduling, and deployment triggers Ensure change request outcomes are accurately reflected in ServiceNow, including automated closures and manual review triggers Customise Azure DevOps test plans to enable risk‑based decision logic Navigate complex stakeholder environments and advocate effectively for automation Produce high‑quality design documentation and contribute to policy updates Essential Skills & Experience Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow DevOps Change Velocity module and integration with Azure DevOps or similar platforms Strong understanding of ITIL change management processes and automation opportunities Experience designing and implementing workflows in ServiceNow Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines and test plans Excellent stakeholder engagement skills , especially in change‑averse environments Ability to produce clear design documentation To have your application considered, you will: Be an Australian citizen Have a minimum baseline security clearance If this position sounds of interest to you, please APPLY NOW For more information, please contact Aimee Goff on or via email on aimee.goff @igniteco .com.
