The Role The business is seeking a versatile and experienced Estimator (or Quantity Surveyor) who can confidently manage end-to-end estimating while supporting key aspects of contracts administration and project coordination. Working closely with company leadership the successful candidate will prepare precise, well‑structured estimates that help drive successful project delivery. This role suits someone who thrives in an autonomous environment, communicates exceptionally well, adapts quickly as project demands evolve and contributes positively to a high‑performing collaborative team. The Responsibilities Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates across diverse construction projects. Analyse drawings, specifications and tender documentation to develop sound cost forecasts. Maintain clear communication with clients, suppliers and internal teams regarding budgets and expectations. Prepare and manage RFIs during tender phases. Source, assess and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing. Support contracts administration tasks including variations, progress claims and reporting. Maintain current pricing data, cost databases and supplier records. Participate in internal review and feedback sessions to support ongoing improvement.
