Claims Officer / Insurance Assistant – January 2026 start North Queensland Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd – Kirwan QLD North Queensland Insurance Brokers is an established local General Insurance Broker, proudly servicing North Queenslanders for nearly 40 years. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Kirwan Office in a full-time role starting 19th January, 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to begin or grow your career in the Insurance Broking industry. School leavers are encouraged to apply. About the Role As part of our dedicated Claims Team based in Townsville, your responsibilities will include: Assisting clients with insurance claims Offering broking support when required What We’re Looking For This is a high customer contact position, so we’re seeking applicants who are: Customer-focused and professional Confident on the phone with excellent communication skills Competent with keyboard and computer use Able to follow directions and contribute positively in a team environment Experience and qualifications in the insurance broking industry would be an advantage, however not a requirement After successfully completing a 3-month probation period, the successful candidate will commence studies to obtain an accredited qualification in Insurance Broking.
