About the role We have a great opportunity for you to join ELGAS as a Business Development Specialist. Based out of Shepparton VIC you will not only be responsible for the growth and retention of select customers but also seeking and converting new business prospects. What you will enjoy doing Manage a portfolio of critical customers. Be responsible for planning, profit and contract management. Increase the profitability of the portfolio through effective price & contract management, increase zone density and profitable use of product substitution. Drive commercial new business wins consistent with the agreed terms. Generate & convert leads through identifying customer business growth opportunities to grow sales and/or volume density. Understand, monitor and report competitor activity and market trends. Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities ensuring all information and interactions are recorded in SalesForce CRM. Drive improvement in the provision of products/services to customers and develop mutually rewarding relationships. Comply with BOC Safety Standards, Process, Procedures & Regulations. What makes you great Hands on experience in preparing strategic customer action plan. PC skills like MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Salesforce CRM and SAP are desirable. Strong understanding of price management (grow margin, pricing and profit) and solid business acumen. Advanced presentation skills with excellent business development and influencing skills.
