In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day. You will have the support of a strong, close team of driven healthcare professionals with the backing and resources of a global corporate infrastructure. Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of physical and psychological conditions and helping them achieve return to health and return to work outcomes. Your duties will include: Case management (caseloads are manageable, and consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks) Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals Working across schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes Completing a variety of assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or injuries from motor vehicle accidents We welcome new graduates to apply We offer a hands-on approach to learning and developing your career. Qualifications You'll be a driven and energetic professional with the following: Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and full registration with AHPRA Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation would be highly regarded Excellent communication skills for working with clients and stakeholders Compassion and kindness with empathy Strong time management skills Current NSW Driver’s License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance Additional Information Every day, we seek better together for our clients, our customers, our community and each other.
