Management Accountant Assistant Manager Forvis Mazars' Outsourcing & Advisory team has an opportunity for an Assistant Manager like you. About the Opportunity As part of the Outsourcing division, we pride ourselves on providing outstanding services to local and international clients across a diverse range of industries. Our Outsourcing division acts as an outsourced finance function, enabling clients to focus on growing their companies with the peace of mind that they will have accurate and timely information to make key business decisions.By streamlining business processes and moving finances to the cloud, we transform a business, providing valuable time and energy to focus on growth. Responsibilities Client‑facing role as the day‑to‑day contact point for the client Preparation of the month‑end close process Preparation of the monthly / quarterly management accounts including the reporting pack Cash flow management and processing of supplier payment runs Preparation of variance report and monthly executive summary Assist in the preparation of advisory projects Responsibility for accounts payable, bank reconciliations and other processing prepared by junior team members Preparation of payroll tax and workers' compensation reconciliations Review and lodgement of monthly / quarterly business and instalment activity statements Utilising cloud technology to drive process improvements both internally and externally Assist in the supervision and training of junior staff Communicate with clients and colleagues Progress towards providing advisory services to key business stakeholders About You Completed bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting or Finance Have completed or are completing CA, CPA or equivalent qualification; professional services accounting and advisory experience ideally from a local top or mid‑tier firm Technical accounting experience with knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS / AASB) Experience in management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting Excellent relationship‑management, teamwork and collaboration skills Experience with Xero, Netsuite or other cloud accounting software would be beneficial Strong numerical and IT skills Sound Microsoft Excel skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated problem‑solving and decision‑making skills Willingness to learn Benefits Well‑being program Staff Incentive Plan Volunteering day Flu vaccinations Learning and development programs Social club activities, charity and community events Study assistance (financial support & study leave) Flexible working Employee referral rewards Paid professional memberships Employee assistance program Parental leave payment Discounts on banking & insurance, health insurance, retail and entertainment, health and well‑being International and domestic mobility opportunities Diversity & Inclusion At Forvis Mazars, we nurture an inclusive environment and embrace diversity in all its forms.
