If this sounds like you, come and join us About the Role We’re seeking a Commissions & Targets Manager to design, manage, and govern our sales commission framework and target-setting process—ensuring fairness, transparency, and alignment with business objectives. Reporting to the Head of Sales Operations, this individual contributor role partners closely with Finance and HR to create incentive structures that motivate performance while balancing cost and compliance. You’ll play a key role in driving accountability and engagement across the salesforce through clear, data-driven processes. This role follows Vocus’ hybrid working model (two days per week in the office) and may involve occasional travel for sales kick-offs. No security clearance or shift work required. What You’ll Be Doing Commission Scheme Design & Governance – Lead the design and rollout of sales commission schemes across all segments, ensuring simplicity, transparency, and alignment with growth priorities. Target Setting & Allocation – Manage annual and quarterly target-setting processes, working with Segment GTM, Finance, and Sales to ensure targets are achievable yet ambitious. Performance Measurement & Payouts – Oversee accurate calculation and validation of commissions, partnering with Finance for timely payments. Incentive Effectiveness & Optimisation – Analyse the link between commission plans, sales behaviour, and business outcomes; recommend refinements and run scenario modelling. Operational Excellence & Communication – Create clear documentation and FAQs for sales teams, manage governance of adjustments, and ensure process consistency across HR and Finance. Reporting & Continuous Improvement – Provide dashboards and analytics on payout trends and ROI, while continuously simplifying and improving processes. What You’ll Bring Experience 5–10 years in sales operations, incentive design, or compensation management, ideally in B2B or multi-segment environments. Proven experience designing and managing commission frameworks across diverse sales teams. Strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, and commission automation tools (e.g., Performio). Track record of delivering accurate, timely commission cycles under tight deadlines. Experience partnering with Finance, HR, and Sales leadership to align incentives with strategic objectives.
