We're seeking a Business Operations Coordinator to play a pivotal role in driving organisational efficiency and supporting our Senior Leadership Team. In this full-time, permanent role, you'll coordinate cross-functional operations, streamline business systems, and act as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders - including government, partner organisations, and community groups. You'll work closely with the CEO and senior leaders to prepare strategic communications, ensure compliance with governance requirements, and foster collaboration across departments to enhance organisational performance and reputation. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily business operations and maintain efficient administrative systems. Support governance and compliance processes, including Board and Committee meetings. Prepare reports, briefings, and correspondence for senior stakeholders. Liaise with internal and external partners to ensure effective communication and information flow. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance systems, processes, and workflows. Provide operational and logistical support for meetings, events, and strategic projects. Why Join Open Minds? About You You're a confident communicator with a strong understanding of business operations, governance, and stakeholder engagement. You excel at managing multiple priorities, building relationships, and delivering quality outcomes in a dynamic environment. You’ll bring : Demonstrated experience in operations, administration, or project coordination (ideally within the NFP or community services sector). Experience supporting Board or Committee processes (agendas, minutes, and action tracking). Strong digital literacy across Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and related tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships. Proven ability to manage systems, workflows, and reporting processes with precision and care. Alignment with Open Minds' mission and values. Desirable Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Management, Health or Human Services, or a related discipline. Understanding of governance, compliance, and risk frameworks within the NFP sector.
