About the role Caversham Village Medical Centre is seeking a talented and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our medical practice. In this part‑time role based in Caversham, WA 6055, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our practice and supporting our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. What you’ll be doing Manage the administrative and financial aspects of the practice, including budgeting, payroll, and billing. Oversee the scheduling and coordination of patient appointments. Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and industry standards. Facilitate effective communication between the practice staff, patients, and healthcare providers. Implement and maintain efficient office procedures and policies. Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and external partners to maintain the practice’s operations. Provide leadership and support to the administrative team. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the practice’s efficiency and patient experience. What we’re looking for Minimum 3 years of experience in a medical practice management role or a similar position in the healthcare industry. Strong understanding of medical office operations, including billing, scheduling, and compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with patients, providers, and staff. Proficient in the use of medical practice management software and other relevant technology. Proven problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work. Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
