About the role We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead sales growth across our region. In this pivotal role, you will drive new business development, expand existing customer relationships, and position Turner Engineering as the preferred partner in the market. You’ll work closely with a motivated team and senior leaders to implement strategies, tools, and processes that support capability, improve customer outcomes, and deliver on growth objectives. What you’ll do Lead the business development process: prospecting, qualification, proposals, and closing. Develop and execute sales plans that achieve revenue and margin results. Build strong customer relationships, nurture key accounts, and ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with technical sales staff to provide tailored solutions. Conduct proactive sales activities—customer visits, presentations, and negotiations. Analyse competitor activity and market trends to inform strategy. Drive e-commerce adoption and embed digital sales practices. Mentor and develop the sales team, fostering a culture of performance and collaboration. What you’ll bring Proven track record in sales growth and business development in competitive markets. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to build lasting customer relationships and deliver tailored solutions. Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools. Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring sales professionals. Technical knowledge of HVAC&R systems (desirable). Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline (desirable).
