Customer Service Representative

Avis Car & Truck Rentals Albury is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. This casual position offers a minimum of 30 hours per week on a rotating 7-day roster, with the potential to transition into a full-time role for the right candidate. As a key member of our front-line team, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers. You will play an essential role in providing outstanding service by assisting with enquiries, managing reservations, and offering support in a professional, efficient, and welcoming manner. What you'll be doing Respond to incoming customer enquiries via phone, in-person and email interactions Meet customers both in the office and those coming off scheduled flights Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding our products and services Process customer bookings, payments and any necessary documentation via Avis car rentals web-based computer program Recognise and allocate vehicles to suit customer requirements Identify and resolve customer issues or concerns in a prompt and courteous manner Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions What we're looking for Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage with customers from diverse backgrounds Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle customer queries efficiently Ability to learn web-based computer program A friendly, professional and adaptable approach to customer service The ability to work effectively as part of a team Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and flexible hours Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service is an advantage, but not essential—full training will be provided.
