You’ll be supported by your own dedicated consultant, mentored throughout the duration of your placement, and matched with our reputable host employer to ensure you receive high‑quality on‑the‑job training in a safe and supportive environment. If you are motivated, eager to learn, and able to commit to a 4‑year apprenticeship, we encourage you to apply This apprenticeship offers you a valuable pathway to gain hands‑on experience working on end‑to‑end fibre network projects while working towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Data and Voice Communications (UEE30420) – all while getting paid Key responsibilities include: Hauling, splicing, terminating, and testing optical fibre cables Installing communications racks and equipment Preparing sites and infrastructure for data cabling Terminating, testing, and certifying cable performance Working with optical fibre, coaxial, and multipair cables Diagnosing and repairing faults across data and voice systems Following company policies and industry regulations Attending training towards the qualification Applicants should possess: Hold a current Driver’s Licence and have reliable transport Possess a White Card or be willing to obtain one Be physically fit, energetic, and safety conscious Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic Be a team player with a willingness to learn A genuine interest in data or electrical trades In possession of, or willing to obtain, a Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance Desirable for your application, but not essential: Previous experience in data and voice communication or a similar environment Basic understanding of hand and power tools Completion of a Certificate II in Electrotechnology (UEE22020) Why apply?
